I would like to be a tutor to help students find their voices in writing, to help make the process fun and interesting for them. Writing should be something students look forward to, they are being asked for their particular take on a subject. Recently I have returned to school and my performance in composition classes earned me a spot in the Honor Society. I am also a published writer, contributing to The Dallas Morning News and Dallas Observer, The Lawrence Journal World, Lawrence.com, and most recently a contributor to the soon to be Globally published humor anthology, "The Indie Cred Test" from Penguin Publishing.

Hobbies
Music both live and recorded, Stand Up and Improv Comedy, Movies and Television, Video Games, News and Opinion, Pop Culture and Social Commentary, Art and Design. I like to think I'm pretty connected and in touch, and it's helped me open a dialog with friends and co-workers kids in the past. I feel I can connect with their interests, and converse with them about what they are studying and how it is relevant to their passions. I feel that kids and teens get talked down to so often, and are usually looking for a way to express themselves. I would like to help them with that.
